Myth: White boxers are rare.
Fact: White boxers are not rare. In fact 25% of litters from parents that have any white on them are born white.
Myth:White boxers are albinos
Fact: White boxers are not albino. Many have brindle or fawn coloring on some part of them.
White boxers are shunned by many. The CKC, AKC, any many other breed clubs don't recognize white boxers as meeting breed standards. Many of these clubs will not allow a white boxer to be registered. White boxers can't participate in any shows. They can only participate in agility and obedience classes. Many breeders 'euthanize' white boxers as soon as they are born. Even though there is NOTHING wrong with them. They are killed simply because they are white. Some breeders will sell white boxers cheaper than the rest of the litter to 'pet' homes. They are made out to be defective only because of their color. Some people say that white boxers are more prone to being deaf or blind because they are white. This is not proven as there are not any records kept on white boxers.
Anyone who has a white boxer will say the are every bit as good as any colored boxer, maybe even better.

It is nice to see a fellow Boxer lover take up the cause of the precious and ofter maligned white boxer. I became aware of the plight of the white boxer through a rescue. Most breeders used to cull pure white boxers for fear that they would be either blind or deaf. That myth has left a lasting effect on me and I have made it my job to tell all those who spread those lies the truth. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, your a great lady and that picture is one priceless and perfect example of what a Boxer should be.
Thank you Mischievious. I found out about the plight of white boxers from the breeder I got my dog from. I personally think it's disgusting what people have done to them.
Second time I've read this and can't believe I never left a comment. Well done! The White boxer has had a bad deal for years ,hopefully it seems to be coming into it's own these days,I did a sentence or two in a hub I did ages ago about(. white) Boxers in the 70s,
